WTF Gyms is a rapid-growing fitness and wellness organisation on a mission to make India fit. We are hiring one hands-on HR leader to build and run the complete HR function for the whole of WTF Gyms — every area of HR, organisation-wide, across every part of the business and every location.

Read this before applying

This role owns the entire HR function of WTF Gyms — not one area, not one department. You will personally build HR from the ground up and run all of it day-to-day across the whole company. It is a builder-operator role — you must be as comfortable writing a policy as closing a hard hire, fixing a payroll error, running an appraisal cycle and setting up training yourself. What you will own — every area of HR, end-to-end

- Talent Acquisition: full-cycle hiring for all of WTF Gyms — bulk and niche, across all roles and locations
- HR Operations: onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, HRMS and records — accurate and on time, company-wide
- Compliance & Statutory: PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, POSH, Code on Wages — across all locations and entities
- Employee Lifecycle: confirmations, transfers, exits and full & final settlements
- Performance Management: KRAs/KPIs, appraisals, PIPs and a fair, enforced review cycle
- Learning & Development:



build the company's training and capability programs from scratch
- Compensation & Benefits: salary structures, bands and benefits, in line with company policy
- Employee Relations & Grievance: handling issues, discipline and resolution fairly
- HR Process, Policy & Systems: create org-wide HR SOPs, policies and systems where none exist — and get them adopted
- Engagement, Culture & Retention: diagnose and fix attrition with data, not one-off activities
- HR MIS & Analytics: company-wide dashboards on hiring, attrition, cost and productivity for the founders

Must-haves (we screen strictly on these)

- 6–10 years in HR with proven, personal, end-to-end ownership of the complete HR function — every area, not a single sub-function
- A hard record of building HR processes, policies and systems from zero in a fast-growing company
- Experience owning HR at a company / organisation-wide level, across multiple locations
- Hands-on L&D; build experience (you've set up training, not just attended it)
- Strong across bulk recruitment with provable closes
- Solid compensation, compliance and employee-relations experience
- Deep working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance
- HRMS proficiency
- A genuine executor: extreme ownership, hands-on, structured, thrives in speed and ambiguity, holds a line

Good to have

- Experience in fitness, retail, QSR, hospitality or a fast-scaling company
