SowandReap

Hyderabad

The roleYou will own how Sow&Reap; looks and reads across everything we put out. That means investor and client decks one week, a conference booth the next.

The part of this job that matters most is narrative. You will be the design function rather than one part of it, working directly with leadership and the field team.

This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership of the brand system.

What you will work on

Presentations: Investor decks, client pitches, technical explainers, conference talks. Turning dense data on soil, carbon and measurement into slides a non-technical audience can follow. This is the largest and most frequent part of the job.

Print and physical collateral: Company brochures, one-pagers, flyers, product sheets, reports. Preparing files correctly for print and coordinating with vendors on proofs, stock and finishes.

Event and spatial design: Banners, standees, backdrops, booth layouts, signage and giveaways for conferences and field events. You will work to real dimensions and installation constraints.

Digital and web: Website pages and landing pages designed on Figma and handed off to developers, plus social assets, email templates and short-form motion or animated graphics where they help.

Brand and identity: Logos and sub-brands for new initiatives, and a brand system (type, colour, iconography, templates) that keeps our output consistent as the team grows.

What we are looking for

- 3 or more years of professional graphic design experience, in-house or at an agency
- A portfolio showing range across at least presentations, print and digital. We will look at the portfolio closely.
- Strong command of Figma and the Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

After

Effects is a plus.

- Working knowledge of print production: bleeds, colour profiles, resolution, large-format output, vendor handoff

- Ability to take a rough brief, a spreadsheet and a few reference links, then come back with something finished
- Comfort designing with data. Charts, maps and process diagrams come up constantly in our work.
- Narrative instinct. You can look at a messy project and work out what the story is, what order it should be told in, and what to leave out.
- Speed without sloppiness.

Decks often move on a two-day turnaround.

- Clear written communication in English
- Appetite for ownership. You should be comfortable being the person accountable for how the company looks, with the autonomy and the pressure that carries.
- Genuine interest in climate and the workplace. You do not need a background in it, but you should want your work to count for something beyond the craft.

Good to have

- Prior work in climate, sustainability, agriculture, energy or the development sector.

Preferred, not required, and we will happily hire a strong designer from any category who wants to learn this one.

- Experience designing sustainability reports, ESG collateral or scientific and technical communication
- Basic HTML/CSS or experience working closely with front-end developers
- Illustration or motion design skills
- Experience running a small vendor network for print and fabrication

How we workHigh ownership. You will be handed outcomes rather than tasks. If we are exhibiting at a conference in three weeks, the booth, the standees, and the deck are yours to plan and land.

High growth.

The company is scaling quickly and so is the surface area of this role. What starts as one designer running everything becomes a brand system, a set of templates other people can use, and eventually a team you help shape.

We want someone who treats that as the point rather than the risk.

That comes with the honest trade-off of a rapidly growing company: shifting priorities, some ambiguity, and stretches where you are working on four unrelated things in a week.

Why this job is worth takingClimate work you can point at. Sow&Reap; is removing carbon and changing practices on real land with real farmers. Your design is how that work reaches the buyers, investors, regulators and communities who decide whether it scales. This is a category most people still do not understand, and communication is a genuine bottleneck to it growing. Fixing that is a meaningful contribution.

Scope. You will touch identity, print, spatial and digital in the same month.

Short decision chains. Small team, direct access to founders, nothing sitting between your file and the outside world.

A portfolio that stands out. Carbon removal, soil science and field operations make for better work than another SaaS landing page.

How to applySend the following to: [email protected]

1. Your CV
2. Portfolio link (PDF or website)
3. One deck you designed end to end, with a line or two on what the brief was and what you changed
4. Your notice period and earliest possible start date
5. Current and expected compensation

Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Process

1. Portfolio review
2. Intro call, 30 minutes
3. Short design task, scoped to roughly half a day
4. Final conversation with the founders

We aim to close this within two weeks of first contact.
