Our client is Company of medical scrubs (dress for doctors and surgeons) who is looking for a skilled problem solver to join the team as Forecasting Analyst This company is Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA, with offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This is the world ’s largest manufacturer of medical scrubs (uniform apparel). They distribute their products through multiple channels including 3rd party retail, wholly owned retail ecommerce sites, and corporate branded sites.

Job Position: Forecasting Analyst – Marketplace

Office Timing: 11 am to 8 pm or 12 pm to 9 pm

Weekdays: 5 days

Location: Pune

Experience – Minimum 3 years

Principal Responsibilities:

Summary:

Generate demand accurate baseline forecast for company and Stock Keeping Units (SKU) for multiple brand lines within multiple marketplaces. Examine inventory levels for product to ascertain company’s optimal financial performance and potential future sales. Analyzes and manipulates aggregated forecasts and shipments data.

Key job responsibilities:

- Manage inventory and forecasting to maintain consistent product availability and achieve company goals.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance, providing reports and actionable insights.
- Define SKU-level safety stock and maintain optimal inventory levels by working closely with internal and external teams.
- Create purchase orders (POs) and manage shipments to marketplaces.




- Oversee warehouse operations and 3rd party logistics to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (operations, IT, accounting, customer service, etc.) to align with marketplace strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with marketplaces, consultancies, and solution providers; recommend new solutions when needed.
- Use data analysis, statistical methods, and industry knowledge to interpret trends, frame situations, and support decision-making

Professional Qualifications:

- Experience working with e-commerce companies like Amazon, Walmart, etc
- Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (expert-level Excel) and advanced system operation skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Understanding of customer service principles for both internal and external stakeholders

Education/Experience:

- Minimum 3+ years of forecasting and inventory management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
