Cloudwerx is growing, and so is our Finance team.

As our business continues to evolve across multiple entities and regions, we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join Cloudwerx and help strengthen the financial foundations that support our growth.

This isn’t a role focused only on month-end reporting.

We’re looking for someone who can bring strong accounting fundamentals while also working across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, payroll support, statutory compliance, internal controls and business partnering.

Location: Pune, India

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Delivery, Sales & Marketing, People & Culture and our leadership team, helping turn financial information into meaningful insights and supporting better business decisions.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Managing month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Preparing management accounts, financial statements and leadership reporting
- Supporting multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
- Preparing balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning
- Supporting Australian, New Zealand and India payroll activities
- Coordinating statutory compliance and external audit requirements
- Strengthening internal financial controls and governance
- Partnering with teams across the business on financial analysis and decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and improve Finance processes





What we’re looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong financial reporting and month-end experience
- Sound knowledge of IFRS/accounting standards and statutory compliance
- Experience with reconciliations, journals, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Strong Excel capability and experience with cloud-based accounting or ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and professional judgement

CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications are highly regarded, along with experience in multi-entity, multi-currency or international environments.

Experience working across Australia, New Zealand and India, or with platforms such as Xero, Zoho or Fathom, would also be valuable.
