We are hiring! ELM Enterprises Private Limited is looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with robust domain expertise in HVAC procurement.

Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase will oversee the end-to-end procurement process for HVAC projects, with a focus on materials, equipment, and services required for Pharmaceutical facilities. This full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with project budgets and timelines. The role involves coordinating closely with project, engineering, and site teams to ensure timely material availability, tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies with vendors and logistics partners.

Purchase will maintain vendor databases, monitor supplier performance, and support cost optimization initiatives while adhering to company quality standards and compliance requirements. The role also includes preparing purchase reports, updating procurement trackers, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchase processes in engineering, construction, or HVAC projects, preferably within the Pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
- Ability to source, evaluate,



and manage vendors and suppliers, including negotiation of pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, procurement software, and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and email communication).
- Understanding of HVAC equipment and materials (e.g., AHUs, ducting, chilled water systems, filtration components) and basic technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and documentation skills to manage quotations, cost comparisons, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, site teams, consultants, and external vendors.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in supply chain, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role, with responsibility for project-based procurement, is highly beneficial.
