About the Role

We are looking for a Media Relations qualified based in Chandigarh who can manage regional media engagement and build strong relationships with journalists and media houses across Chandigarh, Punjab and the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with regional journalists, editors and media houses across print, digital and television.
- Develop and execute media outreach strategies to generate relevant coverage.
- Identify and leverage regional media opportunities based on client requirements.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing notes and other communication material.
- Coordinate media interactions, interviews, briefings and press engagements.
- Handle media queries and ensure timely communication with journalists.




- Track and report media coverage and maintain media databases.
- Stay updated on regional news, developments and emerging media trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for effective media outreach.

What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in Media Relations, PR or Communications.
- Strong network with Chandigarh/Punjab-based media.
- Good understanding of the regional media landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong pitching, relationship management and networking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a WFH setup.
- Knowledge of Punjabi and experience with regional media would be an advantage.
