Short Description : We are looking for a technically skilled Senior Engineer –Product Development to join our R&D; team in Thane. The role will be responsible for supporting the design and development of recent products and product modifications for LV Switchgear.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Creo, 2D/3D design, engineering drawings and product development, preferably within the switchgear, electrical equipment.

- Lead product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.

- Utilize CAD software to design and optimize switchgear products, ensuring efficiency and safety.

- Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.

- Oversee the product development process, from concept to prototyping and testing.

- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially in electrical and mechanical engineering.





- Work closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning and messaging strategies.

- Provide technical expertise and support to sales and customer service teams.

- Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and innovation, driving NEDS' competitive edge.

- Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 3-4 years of experience in the switchgear industry, with a strong track record of product development.

- Proficiency in CAD software, with the ability to create and optimize complex designs.

- Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and practices.

- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to product development challenges.

- Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and functions.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results.

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, especially in the electrical domain.
