Role & responsibilities
Detailed Responsibilities
- Ensure timely release of all domestic and import vendor payments as per the approved
payment cycle and authority matrix defined in the system, with complete accuracy and compliance.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and circulate reconciliation status reports to relevant
stakeholders.
- Manage export documentation activities, including preparation and timely submission
of documents to banks in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Monitor MSME compliance, including calculation and timely payment of MSME dues
and interest, wherever applicable.
- Maintain complete tracking of bank transactions, ensuring accurate accounting,
reconciliation, and closure of all outstanding items on a daily basis.
- Support month-end and year-end book closure activities, including journal voucher
(JV) preparation, parking, posting, and reconciliation.
- Demonstrate robust knowledge of General Ledger (GL) accounting, financial accounting
principles, and period-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements,
including accurate accounting and timely filings.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting, customer receipt accounting,
reconciliation, and receivable monitoring.
- Coordinate with OEM customers and other key accounts for collection of overdue
receivables and resolution of payment-related issues.
- Monitor and improve working capital management, including cash flow planning,
receivable collections, and vendor payment controls.
- Ensure adherence to Internal Financial Controls (IFC), company policies, and regulatory
requirements.
- Support Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and other compliance reviews,
including timely submission of audit requirements and closure of observations.
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, bankers, and other external stakeholders
to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
- Handle plant-specific finance and accounting issues through effective coordination with
plant, procurement, SCM, and business teams.
- Prepare and analyze various MIS reports, cash flow statements, ageing analyses, and
management reports as required. 4 | P a g e

- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, customer accounts, and balance sheet
schedules on a periodic basis.
- Ensure proper accounting and control over foreign currency transactions, import
payments, and related banking activities.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance
efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with company policies and
audit requirements.
- Possess strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel, and other
finance-related systems and reporting tools.
- Demonstrate effective communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and
team coordination skills to support business objectives.
