Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced STP Engineer to supervise and execute Sewage Treatment Plant projects, including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical coordination, installation, testing, commissioning and operation-related activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day STP construction and installation activities at site.
- Execute STP works as per approved drawings, technical specifications and BOQ.
- Coordinate civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works.
- Monitor installation of tanks, pumps, blowers, screens, filters, pipelines, valves and related equipment.
- Read and interpret STP layouts, P&ID;, process drawings and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and client representatives.
- Monitor manpower, materials and equipment required for STP execution.
- Check work quality and ensure activities are completed as per specifications.
- Assist in testing, trial runs and commissioning of STP systems.
- Monitor plant performance and treatment parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, DO and MLSS, as applicable.
- Coordinate sampling,



laboratory testing and maintaining plant performance records.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate timely rectification and troubleshooting.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance practices during trial/commissioning and O&M; stages.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, checklists and other site documentation.
- Verify measurements and assist in preparation of RA bills and quantity statements.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with authorities/consultants wherever required for STP-related approvals and compliance.
- Maintain equipment, testing, commissioning and handover records.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned STP activities as per project schedule.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 37 years of relevant experience in STP/WTP/ETP/WWTP projects.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in STP execution and commissioning will be preferred.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of STP construction and treatment processes.
- Ability to read GA drawings, P&ID;, piping layouts and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of pumps, blowers, valves, piping and treatment equipment.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Good site supervision and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of quality and safety procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
