About the Role:

The Senior Data Engineer designs and builds database solutions that store, process, and retrieve company data at scale. This role owns conceptual and logical data modeling, system performance optimization, and automation of data movement, cleansing, and processing activities. Based in Hyderabad, the ideal candidate brings robust analytical rigor, a passion for iGaming, and the ability to work to the highest standards under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information.
- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
- Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
- Optimize new and current database systems.
- Use scripting languages to automate data movement, cleansing, and processing activities.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience with data transformation and ETL on large data sets.
- 5+ years of data modeling experience (relational, dimensional, columnar, big data).





•5+ years of complex SQL or NoSQL experience.
- Experience with advanced data warehouse concepts and industry ETL tools (Informatica, Talend).
- Experience with reporting technologies such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash scripting.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-managed, proactive, and customer-focused.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Vertica, Hive).
- Experience as an enterprise technical or engineering consultant.
- Experience building or administering reporting/analytics platforms and flexible data APIs.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
- Experience with Agile development.
