Job Role:

Senior Consultant / SME - Splunk & ClickHouse

Job Summary:

We're looking for someone who knows Splunk and ClickHouse well enough to be the person business and functional teams turn to when they have questions about either platform. The role sits between the people who use our monitoring and alerting tools day to day and the technical team building and maintaining ClickHouse. You'll help move dashboards, rules, and alerts across as they migrate from Splunk to ClickHouse and make sure end users know how to use what gets built.





This is a business-facing coordination role you won't be writing production code or owning infrastructure yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

x Platform Expertise: Be the primary point of contact for questions on Splunk and ClickHouse across business and functional teams how the platforms work, what a rule or dashboard is doing, and how it carries over from one platform to the other.

x Migration Support: Help migrate dashboards, saved searches, detection rules, and alerts from Splunk to ClickHouse, and confirm that what gets migrated still does what the business needs it to do.

x User Enablement: Run training sessions and build documentation so end users can work in ClickHouse without depending on the technical team for routine tasks.

x Stakeholder Coordination: Work between business/functional teams and the technical team building on ClickHouse raise issues, clarify requirements, and follow up until they're closed out.

x Release Tracking: Stay on top of ClickHouse releases, changes, and known limitations, and flag what they mean for business users in plain terms.

x Documentation: Maintain a record of what's been migrated, how it maps back to the original Splunk setup, and anything a new team member would need to know.

x Adoption Monitoring:



Track how teams use the platform after migration and flag it early if people are stuck or working around a gap.

x Meeting Cadence: Set up and run regular check-ins between business users and the technical team so migration and maintenance work keeps moving.

Required Qualifications:

x Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

x 3-8 years of experience with data or security monitoring platforms, including real hands-on time on both Splunk and ClickHouse.

x Comfortable reading and writing across both platforms' query languages:

x SPL (Splunk)

x ClickHouse SQL x Some background in real-time monitoring or alerting SIEM, fraud detection, network security, or similar.

x Has worked through a platform migration or major tooling change before, ideally one that needed business and technical teams to stay aligned.

x Comfortable managing stakeholders on both sides business users and engineers.

x Can explain technical detail in plain language, and turn a business ask into something specific enough for engineering to act on.

x Has designed or delivered training or onboarding material for end users.

x Strong written and spoken communication.

Positive to Have:

x Experience in payments, banking, or financial services.

x Exposure to fraud detection or network security monitoring.

x Familiarity with BI or visualization tools.

x Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
