Head/Manager – Biomedical Engineering

Location: MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital

Reporting: Medical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Biomedical Engineering department and team.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of all medical equipment.
- Manage equipment installation, calibration, commissioning, and lifecycle management.
- Handle AMC/CMC, vendors, service contracts, and technical evaluations.
- Support procurement and CAPEX planning for biomedical equipment.
- Ensure equipment safety, documentation, and compliance with NABH/statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with clinical, nursing, IT, and facility teams for equipment-related needs.
- Monitor equipment uptime, maintenance performance,



and service quality.

Qualification & Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Electronics or related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant hospital biomedical engineering experience, with managerial experience preferred.
