Role Overview

We are looking for a Blockchain Lead / Technical Lead with robust experience in Blockchain/DLT and Capital Markets to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade blockchain solutions for regulated financial environments.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with blockchain architecture, smart contracts, distributed systems, tokenization, DLT platforms, cloud-native technologies, and financial market infrastructure.

The role will involve working on use cases such as securities settlement, custody, clearing, reconciliation, post-trade processing, asset servicing, and tokenized assets.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership

Lead architecture and design of blockchain/DLT solutions for Capital Markets.

Design solutions for settlement, custody, clearing, reconciliation, asset servicing and tokenized securities.

Define smart-contract architecture, standards, lifecycle and security practices.

Design permissioning, privacy, identity and governance models for regulated environments.

Define on-chain/off-chain data architecture and enterprise integration patterns.

Design scalable, highly available and resilient blockchain platforms.

Review architecture, smart contracts, APIs and event-driven integrations.

Delivery & Team Leadership





Lead and mentor blockchain engineering teams.

Own technical delivery, sprint planning, milestones and technical deliverables.

Conduct architecture, design and code reviews.

Ensure production readiness, operational stability and security.

Support platform upgrades, incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Security & Governance

Drive smart-contract security and threat modelling.

Define access control, identity and key-management practices.

Establish upgrade and governance mechanisms.

Ensure compliance with organizational, audit and regulatory requirements.

Capital Markets

Translate Capital Markets business requirements into technical solutions.

Work on post-trade, settlement, custody, clearing and asset-servicing workflows.

Understand high-volume and time-critical financial transaction processing.

Work with business, product, risk, compliance and technology stakeholders.

Required Skills

Blockchain / DLT

4–6+ years of hands-on Blockchain / DLT experience.

Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and distributed systems.

Smart contracts and smart-contract lifecycle management.

Experience with permissioned enterprise blockchain.

Experience with tokenization / digital assets / digital securities.

Understanding of consensus, cryptography, identity and key management.

Experience with blockchain APIs and event-driven architectures.

Programming

Strong Java and/or Scala experience.

Experience with at least one blockchain smart-contract or scripting technology.

Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
