Company Description Soft Hear Speech Hearing & Vertigo Clinic is a private, independent diagnostic and rehabilitative practice specializing in audiology and speech therapy. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team focuses on prevention, assessment, and management of speech, language, hearing, communication, and voice disorders. Services also address swallowing difficulties, tinnitus, and balance issues such as vertigo and dizziness.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Audiologist – Head of Department role is based in Pune City. The position involves leading the audiology department, overseeing clinical operations, and ensuring high standards of diagnostic and rehabilitative care. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations, managing tinnitus and balance/vertigo assessments, and developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.

The role requires supervising and mentoring junior audiologists and allied staff, coordinating with speech therapists and other clinicians, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports. The Head of Department will also support protocol development, quality improvement initiatives, patient education,



and collaboration with management on service expansion and community outreach.

Qualifications

- Advanced clinical expertise in audiological assessment and rehabilitation, including pure-tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, speech audiometry, and hearing aid fitting and verification.
- Experience in managing tinnitus and vestibular/balance disorders, including vertigo assessment, counseling, and multidisciplinary care planning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven experience supervising clinical staff and coordinating departmental activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling, family education, and collaboration with speech therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to develop and implement clinical protocols, maintain detailed clinical records, and ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
- Relevant degree in Audiology (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s in Audiology or equivalent) from a recognized institution; current professional registration or licensure as applicable.
- Several years of experience in a clinical audiology setting, preferably with exposure to complex cases and departmental responsibilities.
