Role Description The Senior Applied AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy production-grade conversational AI systems that power customer interactions on platforms such as WhatsApp. This full-time, on-site role, based in Bengaluru, involves building and refining machine learning models, implementing NLP pipelines, and integrating neural network-based solutions into scalable software systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, experimenting with model architectures, performing data preprocessing and pattern analysis, and optimizing models for performance, accuracy, and latency. The role also includes maintaining and improving existing AI workflows,



monitoring model performance in production, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices for the AI stack.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and production-ready coding practices.
- Applied expertise in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for real-world machine learning and deep learning applications.
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), conversational AI, and deploying language models at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), as well as experience with APIs and cloud-based deployment.
- Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines: data collection, preprocessing, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Background in designing scalable, reliable systems and working with microservices, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and mentor other engineers.
- Experience with multilingual NLP, WhatsApp Business APIs, or customer support automation products is a strong plus.
