Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Airline Accounts Manager to independently manage the complete finance and accounting function for airline accounts, with robust exposure to IATA BSP, airline accounting, foreign airline contracts, ADM/ACM, financial reporting, compliance, payments and audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end accounting for airline accounts, including sales, collections, receivables, payables, commissions, incentives, refunds and other airline-related transactions.
- Manage IATA BSP accounting, including BSP statements, sales/refund reconciliation, settlement/remittance and accounting.
- Review, account for and follow up on ADM/ACM, debit/credit adjustments and discrepancies with airlines.
- Perform regular airline-wise BSP, ledger, receivable, payable and bank reconciliations.
- Review contracts/agreements with foreign airlines and understand commercial terms such as commission, incentives, GSA fees, credit terms, deposits, settlement terms, targets and other financial obligations.
- Ensure accounting, billing, revenue/expense recognition, receivables/payables and MIS are recorded in accordance with applicable airline agreements and commercial terms.
- Coordinate directly with foreign airline finance/accounts teams through email and calls regarding BSP, settlements, reconciliations, claims, payments, ADM/ACM and outstanding matters.
- Manage airline and vendor payments, payment schedules and reconciliation of outstanding balances.
- Prepare/review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet schedules, airline-wise MIS and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable accounting/compliance requirements.




- Coordinate and provide financial data, reconciliations and schedules for airline audits, statutory audits and internal audits.
- Monitor outstanding airline/vendor balances and ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure proper accounting controls, timely month-end closing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in Tally / Zoho Books and ensure proper documentation and audit trail.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Airline Accounting and IATA BSP.
- Strong practical knowledge of IATA BSP, ADM, ACM, airline reconciliation and settlement processes.
- Experience in foreign airline accounting and review of airline commercial agreements.
- Good understanding of financial reporting.
- Experience handling airline audits, statutory audits and internal audits.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent email communication and coordination skills, particularly with foreign airline finance teams and vendors.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and team management skills.
- Ability to independently take ownership of the airline finance and accounting function.
