Role Description The Senior AI Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that support the platform’s learning, assessment, and personalization capabilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing machine learning pipelines, implementing neural network architectures, and applying NLP techniques to create intelligent, learner-focused tools and content.

The Senior AI Engineer will collaborate with product, curriculum, and engineering teams to translate educational needs into robust AI solutions,



conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and ensure systems are scalable and secure. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, staying current with AI research, and contributing to the strategic roadmap for AI-driven innovation at Future of Nation.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Computer Science and Pattern Recognition, with the ability to design efficient algorithms and data-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for building and tuning advanced models.
- Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text classification, sequence modeling, and language model integration.
- Robust Software Development skills in languages such as Python, along with experience in building production-grade AI services and APIs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; research or industry experience in applied ML is highly beneficial.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model deployment, versioning, and monitoring on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and mentor less-experienced teammates.
- Interest in education, youth empowerment, or social impact initiatives, and willingness to experiment with AI for learning and skill development.
