Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, supporting institutions and prospective learners through the complete admissions lifecycle.

Responsibilities include guiding applicants through digital admissions processes, explaining program offerings, and addressing inquiries via in-person, phone, email, and online channels. The role involves conducting information sessions, counseling students and families on educational pathways, and maintaining accurate records of leads, applications, and conversions.

Counselor will collaborate closely with academic and operations teams to align admissions messaging with institutional goals, contribute to outreach and enrollment strategies, and provide feedback to improve CTPL’s EdTech solutions. Daily work also includes meeting recruitment targets, delivering a high-quality customer experience, and representing CTPL and partner institutions professionally.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to manage inquiries, convert leads, and support enrollment targets with a consultative approach.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in higher education, admissions, counseling, or EdTech environments.
- Proven ability to work with digital tools and CRM or admissions management platforms; comfort with data entry, reporting, and basic analytics.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Professional spoken and written English; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field; advanced qualifications in counseling or education are a plus.
- Prior experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or academic advisory roles is highly desirable.
