Role Description The Senior Admission Counsellor is a full time, on-site role based in the Mohali district. This role involves guiding prospective learners and their families through the admissions process, explaining CTPL’s partner programs, and helping them choose suitable academic pathways. The counsellor will handle inbound and outbound enquiries, conduct counselling sessions in person and over phone or video, and maintain accurate records of interactions and application statuses.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with academic and operations teams,



supporting digital admissions workflows, achieving enrolment targets, and providing timely follow-up and problem resolution to ensure a positive applicant experience. The role also involves contributing feedback to improve counselling processes and admission strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel applicants and collaborate with internal teams.
- Customer Service skills to provide responsive support, manage queries, and ensure a positive admissions experience.
- Sales skills to convert enquiries into successful admissions, meet enrolment targets, and support revenue goals.
- Understanding of the Education sector and higher education programs to guide applicants on suitable courses and pathways.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Education, Business, Psychology, or related field) and prior experience in admissions, counselling, or student services.
- Ability to work with digital tools and CRM or admissions management systems; comfort with data entry and reporting.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Professional, inclusive attitude and commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
