Role Description The Senior Admission Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in the Mohali district, supporting CTPL’s digital admissions and student engagement solutions. This role involves guiding prospective learners and families through the admissions process, explaining program offerings, and clarifying eligibility, application steps, and timelines.

The Senior Admission

Counsellor will handle inbound and outbound communication via calls, emails, and in-person meetings, maintain accurate records of leads and admissions in CTPL’s systems, and follow up to improve conversion rates.



The role includes collaborating with educational institutions and internal teams, participating in outreach activities and events, and providing feedback to enhance CTPL’s admissions processes and EdTech products. The counsellor is expected to meet defined targets, uphold high standards of customer service, and represent CTPL’s values professionally.

Qualifications

- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills to provide clear guidance, timely support, and a positive admissions experience.
- Proven Sales skills, including lead nurturing, conversion, and working toward defined enrolment or admissions targets.
- Background or experience in Education, counselling, or academic advising, preferably within higher education or EdTech.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mohali district, manage multiple inquiries simultaneously, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Comfort using digital tools, CRM or admissions management platforms, and basic office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Management, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions counselling, student recruitment, or related roles is highly beneficial.
