Hiring: Senior Accountant – Cash & Accounts Receivable

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily cash application and ensure accurate, timely payment posting.
- Perform bank reconciliations, AR aging analysis, account reconciliations, and cash forecasting.
- Prepare and post recurring, adjusting, accrual, reclassification, and correcting journal entries.
- Handle accounting for self-pay transactions, Stripe transactions, unidentified cash receipts, and other adjustments.
- Review unbilled/unposted transactions and credit notes with supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve billing, payment, and cash application discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Billing, Collections, Revenue, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support invoicing, contract-related follow-ups, and customer account reviews.
- Maintain audit-ready reconciliation files, documentation, and system support.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including US GAAP, SOX, and audit requirements.




- Identify opportunities to improve cash application, reconciliation, and accounting processes.

? Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Cash, AR, Bank Reconciliation, and GL Accounting.
- Robust knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close.
- Hands-on experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience in a SOX-compliant or public-company environment preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and cash application/banking platforms preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
