Independently manage the complete books of accounts of all 3 entities in Tally.

Pass and review sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and adjustment entries.

Review ledger scrutiny, Trial Balance, P&L; and Balance Sheet.

Ensure correct accounting treatment, narration and supporting documentation.

Identify incorrect, duplicate, unusual or unsupported entries and ensure rectification.

Maintain all accounting records and supporting documents systematically.

Ensure books are updated on a timely basis and remain audit-ready.

1. Review, Supervision & Training

Supervise and review the work of the Junior Accountant. Train junior accountants on accounting concepts and correct treatment of transactions.

Ensure the team understands why an entry is passed, rather than merely following instructions.

Review accounting quality and establish basic accounting controls/SOPs.

Independently identify accounting, tax or compliance risks and escalate them proactively.

1. GST – End-to-End Ownership

Monthly GST reconciliation between books and GST returns. GSTR-2B vs books reconciliation and ITC verification.

Reconciliation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and books.

Identify and resolve GST mismatches.

Review output GST, input GST, RCM and other applicable GST matters.

Ensure GST payments and returns are completed within timelines.

Maintain GST workings, reconciliations and supporting records.

Coordinate GST notices, queries, assessments and audits.

1. TDS & Income Tax

Monthly TDS payable reconciliation. Quarterly TDS receivable reconciliation with 26AS/AIS and books.

TDS calculation, payment and return compliance.

TDS certificates and correction/revised return coordination.

Handle/coordinate Lower TDS applications wherever applicable.

Maintain complete TDS records and reconciliations.

Assist with advance tax and other income-tax workings.

1. ITR, Finalisation & Tax Audit

Complete books closure for ITR. Prepare all schedules and supporting workings required for ITR and tax audit.

Coordinate with CA/tax team for finalisation.

Experience in Tax Audit is preferred.

Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Ensure books are continuously maintained in an audit-ready manner.

Coordinate and close audit queries within agreed timelines.

1. Monthly Reconciliations

Independently own monthly reconciliation of:

Bank accounts

GST

TDS

Debtors

Creditors

Salary/payroll

Employee reimbursements

Advances

Statutory liabilities

Inter-company/group transactions

Client ledgers

Vendor ledgers

Other balance-sheet accounts

No unexplained/reconciling item should remain open without proper explanation and action.

1. Payroll & Employee Accounting

Monthly salary reconciliation with payroll records. Reconcile salary payable, PF, ESIC/PT/TDS and other applicable deductions.

Review employee reimbursement claims and supporting documents.

Ensure reimbursement accounting and payment records are properly maintained.

Reconcile employee advances and recoveries.

1. Cash Flow & Fund Management

Maintain daily/weekly cash and bank position for all 3 entities. Prepare and maintain rolling cash-flow statements.

Track expected receipts and upcoming payments.

Monitor fund requirements in advance.

Highlight potential cash-flow shortages to management.

Coordinate payment priorities based on available funds and management approvals.

Maintain cash-flow forecasts and compare actual vs expected position.

1. Debtors & Collection

Maintain client-wise debtor ageing for all entities.



Regular follow-up with clients for outstanding payments.

Track committed payment dates.

Escalate overdue/high-value receivables.

Coordinate with business/operations teams for resolution of client billing disputes.

Maintain collection tracker.

Track billing vs collection.

Ensure timely closure of debtor-related issues.

Identify high-risk receivables and highlight them to management.

1. SLA Creation & Maintenance

Create and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for clients. Maintain a central SLA tracker covering:

Scope of work

Deliverables

Timelines

Billing terms

Payment terms

Commercial terms

Compliance requirements

Renewal/expiry dates

Closure status

Review SLAs periodically and ensure agreed terms are being followed.

Coordinate with operations/project teams for SLA closure.

Track pending SLA deliverables and deviations.

Escalate potential SLA breaches before the due date.

Maintain proper evidence/documentation for SLA closure.

1. Billing & Revenue Control

Review client billing every month against the relevant SLA/contract.

Ensure all billable work is captured and invoiced within the agreed billing cycle.

Reconcile client ledgers with client statements wherever required.

Coordinate resolution of billing disputes.

1. Client-Specific Compliance & Documentation

Maintain a Client Compliance Matrix and Calendar for all applicable client requirements. Track and complete requirements such as:

NDC / No-Dues Certificates

Client audits

Vendor audits

Internal/client compliance audits

Financial confirmations

Balance confirmations

GST/TDS confirmations

KYC documentation

Vendor/customer onboarding documentation

Bank details/cancelled cheque requirements

Statutory certificates

Declarations and undertakings

Insurance/indemnity-related documentation, wherever applicable

Client-specific MIS

Financial reports

Any other compliance/documentation requirement specified by the client or contract

Ensure every requirement has

1. Client Audit & Query Closure

Coordinate client audits and financial/compliance reviews. Prepare required schedules and supporting documents.

Track all audit queries.

Coordinate internally to obtain responses.

Ensure queries are closed within agreed timelines.

Maintain an audit-query tracker.

Escalate overdue or high-risk audit matters.

1. Expense & Payment Control

Review expenses before accounting/payment. Verify appropriate supporting documents and approvals.

Check GST/TDS implications before processing expenses.

Ensure expenses are correctly classified.

Maintain vendor payment schedules and outstanding liabilities.

Ensure no payment is processed without required approval/documentation.





Review unusual or high-value expenses and escalate where required.

Publish a monthly management report covering:

1. Compliance Calendar & Control

Maintain a master compliance calendar for all 3 entities. Ensure all statutory payments and filings are completed before due dates.

Track GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF and other applicable compliances.

Maintain proof of payment, acknowledgements, returns and supporting records.

Ensure no compliance is missed due to dependency on another person.

Escalate any potential delay/risk well in advance.

Maintain a compliance tracker with status and evidence.

1. Commercial & Financial Control

Review contractual/commercial terms relevant to billing and collections. Track revenue leakage.

Monitor client deductions and disputed amounts.

Track advances, deposits and other client balances.

Monitor credit period vs actual collection cycle.

Highlight clients with delayed payments or recurring disputes.

Support management in improving cash conversion and collection efficiency.

1. Records & Documentation

Maintain complete and organised records for:

Accounting

1. Management Escalation & Ownership

The person should proactively highlight: Missed/at-risk compliance

Billing leakage

Unbilled revenue

SLA breaches

Audit issues

Unusual accounting entries

Incorrect accounting treatment

1. Monthly Finance Control Sign-Off

At the end of every month, the person should be able to confirm: Books Closed → Bank Reconciled → GST Reconciled → TDS Reconciled → Payroll Reconciled → Reimbursements Reconciled → Debtors Reviewed → Creditors Reviewed → Cash Flow Updated → Billing Reviewed → Unbilled Revenue Checked → SLA Status Updated → Client Compliance Checked → Audit Queries Updated → MIS Published.

Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on Tally Prime experience.

Deep practical knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax.

Solid reconciliation and finalisation skills.

Experience in Tax Audit preferred.

Strong Excel knowledge – Pivot, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reconciliation workings, MIS etc.

Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
