Role

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research Analyst to independently manage sector/company coverage, build financial models, generate investment ideas, and deliver actionable research for institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage equity research coverage across assigned sectors.
- Initiate coverage through company reports, industry primers and thematic notes.
- Build and maintain DCF, relative valuation and SOTP models.
- Analyze quarterly results, update models and publish result notes.
- Develop independent, fundamental research-driven investment views.
- Interact with company managements, industry experts and channel partners.
- Track sector trends, regulations, commodity prices and industry developments.




- Present research views to institutional sales, RMs and clients.
- Support and mentor Associates on modelling and research writing.

Key Requirements

- 3–5 years of Equity Research experience covering Indian equities.
- Hands-on experience in Pharma, Chemicals, FMCG, Jewellery and/or Defence preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Excellent understanding of fundamental research and sector-specific metrics.
- Strong report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel and valuable PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple companies and work under tight results-season deadlines.

Preferred

- CFA Level 2/3 or CA.
- Prior sell-side research experience.
- Existing management/industry relationships.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capitaline, ACE Equity or similar databases.
