Position: School Counsellor

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate School Counsellor to provide counselling and guidance to students and support their emotional, behavioural, academic, and career-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual and group counselling to students.
2. Support students with emotional, behavioural, social, and academic concerns.
3. Conduct career counselling and guidance based on students’ interests, abilities, and goals.
4. Identify students requiring additional support and recommend appropriate interventions.
5. Work closely with teachers, parents, and school management to address student concerns.
6. Maintain confidential and accurate student counselling records and reports.
7. Conduct awareness sessions on mental well-being,



behaviour, relationships, and related student concerns.
8. Handle sensitive student matters professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
9. Follow applicable CBSE guidelines and child protection/safeguarding policies.
10. Participate in student development and well-being initiatives.

Eligibility

1. Master's degree in Psychology / Counselling / Clinical Psychology or a relevant field.
2. Relevant counselling certification.
3. 3–4 years of experience as a School Counsellor preferred.
4. Experience working with students, parents, and teachers will be an advantage.
