Engagement Focus: Application support, service stability, optimisation and controlled change delivery

Role Purpose

Provide dependable operational and functional support for day-to-day transportation activities, independently resolve most service and support requests, serve as the first point of contact for business teams, and hand over technically complex topics to L3 in a structured manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Own assigned service requests and incidents from acknowledgement through resolution, documentation and closure.
- Cover agreed daily support duties and maintain versatile availability during defined support hours.
- Act as the first functional contact for business departments and translate user-reported issues into actionable SAP TM/PTM support topics.
- Perform functional analysis, configuration checks, data validation and reproducible issue diagnosis.
- Monitor PTM web services, R11 web services and relevant batch jobs, and initiate agreed recovery or escalation paths.
- Execute structured warm handovers to the L3 System Expert, including business impact, reproduction steps, evidence, analysis completed and open questions.

Core Knowledge Requirements

- SAP TM functional support across transportation planning and execution.
- LE-TRA, FCM, routing and route determination, stock transfer processes and PTM loading locations.
- Transportation modes and processes covering CEP/Parcel and Express, road, ocean, barge, rail and third-party logistics.




- Awareness of integrated support topics including GTS, Customs, AEB, Yard Management, Elemica, Testify checklists and MyLeo Slot Management.
- Working understanding of freight units, freight orders, bookings, transportation cockpit, carrier-related processes and freight settlement concepts.

Expected Deliverables

- Resolved incidents and service requests with clear work notes and user communication.
- Daily monitoring evidence, exception follow-up and escalation records.
- Functional test evidence for fixes and minor changes.
- Knowledge articles, recurring-issue notes and clean L2-to-L3 handover packs.

Candidate Profile

- Hands-on SAP TM support or implementation experience with strong incident analysis capability.
- Working knowledge of transportation planning, execution and related logistics processes.
- Ability to read interface and batch-monitoring results and distinguish functional, master-data, integration and technical defects.
- Clear business communication, disciplined documentation and collaborative working style.
- Suggested profile: 4+ years of relevant SAP logistics experience, including meaningful SAP TM support exposure.

- Consistent ownership of assigned work without avoidable re-routing.
- Accurate functional diagnosis and timely escalation when L3 input is required.
- Reliable monitoring and transparent communication with business users.
