We are seeking a highly skilled SAP CPI & B2 B Integration Specialist with strong, hands-on expertise in both

SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Business-to-Business (B2 B / EDI) integration. The ideal candidate must demonstrate deep technical knowledge in designing, building, and operating enterprise-grade integration solutions on SAP Integration Suite, combined with proven experience in B2 B trading partner onboarding, EDI standards, and AS2/AS4 protocols. This is a MANDATORY dual-skill role — candidates must be proficient in

BOTH areas.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAP CPI i Flows for SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-third-party integrations. Lead B2 B/EDI onboarding of current trading partners end-to-end, from agreement setup to production go-live. Configure and manage Trading Partner Management (TPM) and SAP Partner Directory in SAP Integration Suite. Build EDIFACT and X12 mappings (850, 810, 856, 997) using SAP Integration Advisor (MIG/MAG). Set up and maintain AS2/AS4 channels, PGP keys, and certificates for secure partner communication. Perform IDOC-to-EDI and EDI-to-IDOC transformations using Groovy, XSLT, and CPI message mapping. Design robust error handling, alerting, retry, and FA (997) acknowledgement processing. Integrate SAP S/4 HANA and ECC with external systems using BAPI, RFC, OData, and IDOC. Collaborate with business, architecture, and SAP functional teams to gather integration requirements.

Create and maintain integration documentation:



technical specs, mapping documents, test cases, and runbooks. Monitor and resolve integration failures using CPI Message Monitor, trace logs, and alerting mechanisms. Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and audit standards for all integrations. Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with third-party B2 B platforms: Open Text, Sterling B2 B Integrator, or Mule Soft. REST API design using Open API / Swagger specification. Postman / SOAPUI for integration testing.

SAP CPI: SAP Open Connectors — pre-built connectors for 170+ third-party cloud apps.

SAP CPI: Integration Suite standard content packages — reuse and extend pre-built i Flow templates.

SAP CPI: Multi-tenancy handling and environment promotion (Dev → QA → Prod).

SAP CPI: SAP BTP Workflow Integration for human task-based integration scenarios.

SAP CPI: OData provisioning and API-first integration design patterns. B2 B: Rosetta Net PIP standards for high-tech and semiconductor supply chain messaging. B2 B: VAN (Value Added Network) connectivity — experience with GXS/Open Text, SPS Commerce. B2 B: SAP Ariba Network EDI / c XML integration with procurement systems. B2 B: PEPPOL / UBL standard for e-invoicing and e-procurement (EU compliance). B2 B: Experience with B2 B visibility & monitoring tools — partner activity dashboards, SLA tracking.

Certifications

SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite (C_CPI_14 or latest equivalent). SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP Integration Suite.
