Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to own the design and implementation of supplier master-data governance and integration between a third-party procurement platform, SAP MDG, and SAP S/4HANA. The role requires strong expertise in MDG Supplier/Business Partner, workflow, validations, data replication, and API/middleware-based integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design the end-to-end supplier master integration across the procurement platform, SAP MDG, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Define system-of-record, data ownership, and governance for Supplier/Business Partner master data.
- Configure MDG Supplier/Business Partner including data models, change requests, UI, workflow, validations, and derivations.
- Map supplier data to SAP BP, Supplier, Company Code, and Purchasing Organization structures.
- Design interfaces using standard SAP APIs, OData/SOAP services, DRF, IDoc, or SAP Integration Suite as appropriate.
- Support supplier creation, changes, extensions, bank/payment details, tax IDs, addresses, purchasing data, and blocking/unblocking processes.
- Design duplicate checks, acknowledgements, reconciliation, monitoring, and integration error handling.
- Configure BRF plus-based validation, derivation, and workflow rules where applicable.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, MM/FI, Integration/BTP, and business teams.
- Own specifications, field mapping, SIT, UAT support, cutover, and production stabilization.

Required SAP MDG Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG-S / Supplier Governance and Business Partner Governance.
- MDG data models, Change Request configuration, workflow, BRFplus, validations, and derivations.
- Duplicate checks, UI configuration,



Data Replication Framework (DRF), key/value mapping, and monitoring.
- Solid S/4HANA Business Partner, Supplier Master, BP Roles/Groupings, CVI, and MM/FI master-data dependencies knowledge.

Integration & Technical Expertise
- Experience integrating SAP MDG with external supplier onboarding, procurement, or sourcing platforms.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, OData, SOAP, JSON/XML payloads, and interface mapping.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration is highly desirable.
- Ability to leverage standard SAP integration mechanisms over custom development wherever feasible.
- Understanding of SAP clean-core principles and recommended extensibility/integration patterns.

Experience & Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP MDG expertise.
- 2+ end-to-end SAP MDG implementations, preferably Supplier/Business Partner governance.
- S/4HANA implementation experience and strong understanding of procurement and supplier onboarding processes.
- Prior integration with third-party supplier or procurement platforms is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently conduct workshops, translate business requirements into solution designs, and own the MDG workstream.

Ideal Candidate A solution-oriented SAP MDG professional combining strong functional configuration expertise with integration knowledge, capable of independently driving the complete supplier-master lifecycle across a procurement platform, SAP MDG, and SAP S/4HANA. Pay: ₹3,043,179.48 - ₹3,246,402.94 per year
