Role Summary The Associate Director – SAP MM (Materials Management) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery and recovery of complex, multi-technology transformation programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP MM, proven experience in turning around troubled engagements, and a strong command of governance frameworks, delivery quality, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead delivery recovery initiatives from assessment through execution—diagnosing issues, designing turnaround plans, and restoring program health.
- Establish and enforce robust delivery governance frameworks aligned with TDLC, Agile, or Protected methodologies, ensuring compliance with sprint cycles and process standards.
- Drive program re-baselining by realigning schedules, risks, and client commitments to meet performance and quality expectations.
- Monitor key delivery metrics (SPI, CPI, burn rate, margin, EAC) to ensure financial and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance Delivery Experience (DEX).
- Lead Steering Committees, executive reviews, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Manage delivery teams across multiple geographies, ensuring adherence to quality gates, InfoSec standards, and audit requirements.




- Oversee contract deliverables, commercial structures, and dependencies—supporting risk mitigation and financial recovery.
- Provide hands-on leadership in SAP MM solutioning and integration within enterprise ecosystems.
- Mentor delivery teams, foster collaboration, and build sustainable capability through knowledge management and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 16–20 years of experience in application delivery and SAP MM Materials Management.
- Proven experience in delivery recovery and turnaround management for large-scale transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe, and SI delivery principles.
- Strong grasp of contract structures, commercial constructs, and cost optimization strategies.
- Exposure to at least one major enterprise platform: SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or o9 Solutions.
- PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certification.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.

Good-to-Have Skills

- SAP Ariba, SAP Business Suite on HANA, or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience with AMS (Application Management Services) recovery and realignment.
- Exposure to GenAI technologies and automation-led transformation.
- Experience across industries such as Health, Products, Communications, Media, Technology, Resources, Utilities, or Life Sciences.
