Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and its integration with SAP S/4HANA. The consultant will be responsible for supporting IBP implementation/transformation initiatives, designing planning solutions, configuring IBP modules, and working closely with business and technical teams to deliver integrated supply-chain planning solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Response & Supply, Inventory Planning, IBP for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) and integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in SAP IBP implementation, rollout, enhancement and transformation projects.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand supply-chain planning requirements and translate them into SAP IBP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP IBP planning areas, key figures, attributes, time profiles, planning levels and planning operators.
- Design and implement planning processes covering:
- Demand Planning
- Supply Planning
- Response & Supply
- Inventory Planning
- S&OP;
- Configure and support SAP IBP Excel Add-In and planning views.
- Develop and maintain SAP IBP integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- Work with integration technologies such as CPI-DS / SAP Integration Suite, as applicable.
- Support data integration between S/4HANA and IBP, including master data and transactional data.
- Analyze and resolve integration, planning and data-reconciliation issues.
- Work with functional teams across SD, MM, PP, APO/SAP IBP and S/4HANA wherever required.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Prepare functional specifications and technical/functional documentation.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT and defect resolution.
- Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities.




- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of overall SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP IBP.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP IBP implementation/support/transformation projects.
- Good knowledge of SAP IBP Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
- Strong understanding of IBP planning areas, planning levels, key figures, attributes and time profiles.
- Experience with IBP S&OP; / Response & Supply.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with master-data and transactional-data integration.
- Good understanding of supply-chain planning processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- SAP IBP certification.
- Experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite / CPI-DS.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/transformation.
- Experience with SAP APO.
- Knowledge of SAP PP, MM and SD integration.
- Experience with IBP Demand Sensing.
- Knowledge of Inventory Optimization.
- Experience with IBP Supply Planning / Response & Supply.
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience with SAP Fiori.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

S/4HANA Transformation ExperienceThe candidate should ideally have experience in projects involving: SAP S/4HANA → Integration Layer → SAP IBP with understanding of:

- S/4HANA master data
- Material/Product master
- Customer/location master
- BOM and production-related data
- Stock and inventory data
- Sales orders / demand
- Purchase orders
- Production orders
- Planned orders
- Supply and demand integration
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Integration monitoring and error handling
