SAP HCM Technical Consultant - Time Management

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain SAP S/4HANA Time Management (PT), including schemas, rules, time valuation, work schedules, and master data dependencies.

- Analyze and resolve complex incidents across SAP HCM Time Management, Payroll integration, Fiori applications, workflows, interfaces, and connected systems.

- Perform root-cause analyses using ABAP debugging, application logs, short dumps, traces, and relevant SAP monitoring tools.

- Independently design, implement, test, and document ABAP and Fiori enhancements related to SAP HCM Time Management, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and forms where required.

- Ensure technically robust, maintainable, and supportable solutions in line with applicable development, security, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

- Solid knowledge of SAP HCM (ideally H4S4) and the underlying ABAP Platform, Fiori applications, and HANA concepts.

- Hands-on SAP Fiori and ABAP development experience, including the ability to analyze, modify, test, and document existing code and to implement smaller developments independently.

- Practical experience with ABAP debugging, code analysis,



enhancement frameworks, user exits, BADIs, reports, interfaces, and technical troubleshooting.

- Experience with SAP workflow technologies, including the analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting of workflow-based processes.

Functional Requirements

- Strong expertise in SAP HCM Time Management, including time evaluation, positive and negative time management, absence management, time quotas, work schedules, and time-related Payroll integration.

- Hands-on experience configuring and enhancing time schemas, PCRs, valuation rules, and PT-related tables.

- Valuable understanding of HR Time Management business processes and country-specific requirements, particularly in a European context.

- Experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Tracking is a plus.

General Skills

- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR stakeholders, product teams, and other technical experts in a global environment.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable functional and technical solutions.

- Fluent English communication skills.
