SAP Functional Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Architect with robust expertise in SAP MM, SD, FI, CO, ECC, and S/4HANA . The role involves defining SAP solution strategy and architecture, translating European business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and driving continuous improvement across SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

- Develop and maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP solutions .
- Design, implement, and manage SAP solutions aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Establish and enforce SAP architectural standards and best practices .

Technical Expertise

- Provide deep technical expertise across SAP technologies and architectures .
- Make informed decisions around system design, integration, optimization, and architecture .
- Ensure SAP solutions adhere to established architectural standards and best practices.

Business Integration & Requirements

- Understand European business requirements , particularly around invoice-to-cash processes .
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions primarily across SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA .
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and SAP technology teams.




- Ensure solutions are both strategically aligned and technically feasible .

Continuous Improvement

- Drive continuous improvement of SAP systems.
- Support performance optimization, security enhancements, and adoption of new SAP technologies .
- Identify opportunities to improve SAP architecture, processes, and system capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 7 years of experience with SAP MM/SD/FI/CO in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP DRC, and SAP RDP .
- Strong understanding of multiple core SAP modules, including MM, SD, FI, CO, FM, and PS .
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, DRC, and RDP .
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration, and solution design.
- Experience working with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA .
- Fluent in English , with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and changing environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP PI/PO .
- Experience with SAP CPI .
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications .
- Exposure to SAP integration and modern SAP technology environments.
