Role & responsibilities

Total SAP FICO experience: 5 to 6 years.

Requirement Essential

Education Engineering or Computer Applications, CA / ICWA (CMA) / MBA (Finance) preferred.

Implementation Minimum two end-to-end implementations: at least one on SAP S/4HANA (greenfield, brownfield or selective data transition) and at least one on SAP ECC.

S/4HANA configuration

Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Material Ledger / Actual Costing, Margin Analysis, Cost Object

Controlling for make-to-order / project-based manufacturing.

ECC configuration Classic FI/CO including New GL, costing-based CO-PA and classic Cost Object Controlling.

Integration FI/CO integration with PS, MM, SD and PP, including account determination and commitment management.

Statutory (India) GST, TDS/TCS, e-invoicing and e-way bill integration; Ind AS reporting requirements.

Business process Project accounting, product costing and variance analysis in a discrete or engineer-to-order manufacturing setting.

CoE / support model Experience working in an SAP Centre of Excellence, shared-services or AMS environment ticket and

SLA-based support, change control, transport governance and design-authority discipline, in addition to project work.

Stakeholder and capability





Proven ability to run workshops with Finance and Costing users, train key users, and produce design and

SOP documentation to CoE standards.

Technical Skills

- SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (release 2021 or later); Fiori launchpad configuration; embedded analytics and CDS view

fundamentals.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP; define user exits, BAdIs and validation/substitution rules; write clear functional specifications for

developers.
- Data migration tooling (S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW on ECC) and cut-over reconciliation techniques; exposure to the RISE

with SAP operating model and transport/change management.
- Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI over SAP data, in support of the enterprise data lake

programme.

Desirable

- SAP Certified Application Associate — S/4HANA Financial Accounting or Management Accounting; experience in capital goods,

heavy engineering, power equipment or project-based manufacturing.
- Exposure to Group Reporting, Central Finance, Treasury or Cash Management; SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere replication

flows or CDS-based extraction to a cloud data platform.
