As a SAP DATA Architect should have good Knowledge in Data archiving end to end processes.

Positive understanding on SAP data archiving process, data retention policies and business impact.

Roles and responsibilities:

- 12+ years of experience in SAP Data Archiving in ECC and S/4HANAStrong experience in Designing and executing archiving of standard objects in areas like FICO, MM, SD and PP
- Strong experience in designing custom tables data archiving.
- Should be able to lead the project (PM experience)
- Experience with Archive Link Imaging Functionality. (Storage and Retrieval of Attachments)
- Technical/Functional knowledge of the SAP Archiving Administrative functions and the Archiving Development Kit (ADK) and SAP ArchiveLink to all archive functionalities including, Configuration, Testing, Storage, Benefit analysis, Infostructures / Partitioning / Indexing.
- Experience with SAP Best Practices Business Processes and Global templates and configuring these Best Practices
- Hands on experience in configuring Organization Structure, Material Master, Equipment Master, BOM, Customer Service Master, Pricing, Shipping and Handling Unit Management
- Expertise in analyzing the dependencies of archiving objects, scheduling the archive jobs based on business processes with taking into account and implementation of needed sap notes and relevant predecessor and successor archiving objects, Validating,



and running the archiving jobs in SAP through SARA.
- Knowledge of SAP provided tools to analyze data volume, both at a table level and system level.
- Technical/Functional knowledge of the SAP ECC Data Retention Tool (DaRT) to include all DaRT functionalities including: Configuration, Testing, Storage, Customer Development options, Segments / fields, Views. Document DaRT creation, retention, and deletion.
- Good Knowledge in Data archiving end to end processes. Good understanding on SAP data archiving process, data retention policies and business impact.
- Experience integrating with SAP ILM, OpenText archive server is an added advantage.
- Configuring SAP ILM Archiving Objects for Blocking, Archiving, Reporting, Retrieval and or Deletion, across various modules. Setup of SAP ILM Audit areas & Policies. This includes the Read programs, Archive Information Structures (AIS), DRB views and other SAP standard reports.
- Configuring SAP classical archiving across various modules.
- Identify test data for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance, working with client’s functional consultants for validation of test results.
- Strong understanding of data classification and data retention policies within at least one of Finance or Supply Chain or Manufacturing business areas




- Can work equally as part of a team and on an individual level with minimal supervision.
- Organized and copes well with multiple concurrent activities.
- Set up archiving concepts for new SAP System. Customizing of Content repository within SAP and Troubleshooting.
- Should understand Integration between SAP & storage system, can manage and solve issues with the mentioned SAP solutions.
- Data volume analysis across multiple large SAP systems
- Working with various groups to define scope and gather business requirements.
- Re-evaluate and update Archiving jobs to optimize existing runs.
- Support System integration testing, User Testing and Regression Testing for each application or SAP Object, and resolve Issues discovered during these cycles.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
