Role: Salesforce QA / Test Engineer

Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Salesforce QA / Test Engineer to support quality assurance and test execution for advanced customer support modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, Service Cloud, functional and integration testing, along with an understanding of AI-driven Salesforce capabilities, Agentforce, grounded prompts, and automated workflows.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and client stakeholders to design test strategies, execute comprehensive test scenarios, identify defects, and ensure high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities1. AI &

- Agentforce Testing

- Design and execute test scenarios for Salesforce Agentforce autonomous actions and AI-driven workflows.
- Validate grounded prompt templates, sentiment analysis, Next Best Action, and AI-generated case summaries.
- Verify AI responses for accuracy, relevance, grounding, consistency, and potential hallucinations.
- Validate AI functionality against applicable Einstein Trust Layer guardrails and data security requirements.

2.

Salesforce Service

Cloud &

• Functional Testing
- Perform end-to-end functional testing of Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.
- Validate Case Management, Salesforce Flows, Omni-Channel routing, background case creation, and customer intervention workflows.
- Perform UI validation for Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce page layouts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end user-journey testing.

3. Test Planning & • Strategy
- Create and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Develop test scenarios based on Technical Design Documents (TDDs),



business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify test coverage gaps and ensure adequate coverage across Salesforce functionality and integrations.

4. API & • Integration Testing
- Perform testing of REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Validate API requests, responses, payloads, data mapping, and error handling.
- Verify data integrity and trigger behavior across integrated systems and automated workflows.
- Use tools such as Postman for API testing and validation.

5. Security & • Data Validation
- Validate Salesforce security and data visibility configurations, including:
- Profiles
- Permission Sets
- Field-Level Security (FLS)
- Sharing Rules
- Role Hierarchy
- Data visibility and access controls
- Validate Einstein Trust Layer data masking and security policies where applicable.
- Ensure sensitive customer and business data is appropriately protected during testing.

6.

Defect

Management &

• Triage
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
- Maintain accurate defect status, severity, priority, and test evidence.

7. Test Automation & • Regression
- Build and maintain automated regression test suites for critical Salesforce user journeys.
- Work with automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, Playwright, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
- Automate repetitive functional and regression scenarios wherever applicable.




- Maintain reusable automation scripts and ensure reliable test execution.

8. UAT Support
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with Business Analysts and client stakeholders.
- Prepare test data, environments, test scenarios, validation checklists, and execution reports.
- Assist stakeholders in validating business processes and resolving UAT-related defects.

Required Skills & • Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing, preferably within Service Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Case Management
- Salesforce Flows
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce security and data visibility
- Understanding or practical experience in testing AI/GenAI functionality, conversational interfaces, prompts, or virtual agents.
- Knowledge of Agentforce, grounded prompts, AI-generated responses, sentiment analysis, or Next Best Action is highly desirable.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, Playwright, Cypress, or Robot Framework.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Ability to create and manage test data across Salesforce sandbox environments.
- Familiarity with Data Loader and/or SFDX CLI for test-data management is preferred.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications & • Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified AI Specialist
- ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation or Advanced Level
- Experience testing Generative AI features, chatbots, decision trees, Agentforce, or contact-center/Omni-Channel integrations.
- Exposure to Salesforce Einstein Trust Layer and AI governance concepts.
