Role Description The Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant role is a remote, contract position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for diverse clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing business requirements, translating them into scalable data architectures, and configuring Salesforce Data Cloud features such as data ingestion, harmonization, and segmentation. The consultant will collaborate with internal designers, developers, and client stakeholders to integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with existing systems, ensure data quality, and support personalization and analytics use cases.
This role involves creating technical documentation, advising on best practices, troubleshooting data and integration issues, and providing guidance on governance and performance optimization.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant/Developer with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud and a proven background in the Pharmaceutical domain.
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud, integrating data from multiple sources, and creating unified customer/HCP profiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 solutions.
- Develop data models, data streams, data transformations, and data mappings.
- Implement Identity Resolution and create unified customer/HCP profiles.
- Build and manage Calculated Insights, Segmentation, and Data Activation.
- Integrate Data Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external data sources.
- Work with APIs and data integration processes to ingest and harmonize data.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Data Cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and integration issues.
- Follow Salesforce best practices for scalability, security, and data quality.
- Work closely with Pharma/Life Sciences business teams to deliver relevant data-driven solutions.
Mandatory skills
- 4+ years of Salesforce experience
- Solid hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360
- Pharmaceutical domain experience – Mandatory
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems/data sources.
- Good understanding of Salesforce CRM and data architecture.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
