Role Description The Sales Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Colaba, with some flexibility for work from home. This role oversees end-to-end sales project execution, from lead generation and prospect qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, architects, and lighting professionals to understand project requirements, preparing project quotations, and tracking timelines and deliverables.

Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams for product selection, pricing, and inventory planning, while monitoring sales performance and project profitability. The role also involves managing client communication, resolving issues, supporting post-sales service, and providing regular reports and forecasts to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements, pricing, and sales performance.
- Team management and training abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams and guide junior staff.
- Customer service and communication skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and manage expectations.
- Experience in project-based sales or account management, ideally within lighting, electrical, construction, or related industries.
- Knowledge of commercial LED lighting products and basic technical understanding of lighting specifications (wattage, color temperature, lumen output) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software for reporting and proposal creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
