Job Title: Sales Officer / Sales Executive - MHD

Department: Material Handling Division (MHD)

Location: CHATTISGARH/RAIPUR

Reporting To: Regional Manager

Grade/Band: O3/E1

Employment Type: Permanent, Contract, Consultant, Internship

Job Purpose

To drive profitable business growth for the Material Handling Division by achieving territory sales objectives, developing customers and channel partners, expanding market coverage, and providing timely market intelligence in alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

 Achieve sales and marketing objectives within the assigned territory.

 Visit designated customers regularly to present products, strengthen engagement, and generate business.

 Plan, monitor, and manage sales operations with targeted customers under the guidance of senior management.

 Identify and develop new customers and markets for the division’s product portfolio.

 Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the assigned area.

 Plan, develop, and manage dealers and distributors, particularly in underrepresented areas.

 Expand the market for existing product lines and support the introduction of new products.

 Provide timely market intelligence on competition, recent products, pricing movements, and market developments.

 Ensure strict compliance with approved sales terms, credit policies, and management guidelines.

 Maintain accurate customer, sales, market visit, and follow-up records.

 Participate in prescribed training programs and pursue continuous self-development.

Compliance & Governance:

 Ensure adherence to company policies, approved pricing, sales terms, credit controls, and operating procedures.

 Maintain accurate and timely sales, customer, market, and performance records.

 Support internal reviews and audits by providing complete and reliable information.

Educational Qualification

 Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,



Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline

 Preferred: Postgraduate qualification or certification in Sales/Marketing

Experience

 Minimum Experience Required: 2-5 years of relevant sales experience

 Industry: Material handling, industrial products, manufacturing, engineering, or allied B2B sectors

 Functional Area: Territory Sales / Business Development

 Relevant Exposure: Customer visits, dealer and distributor development, territory expansion, order generation,

collections follow-up, and market intelligence

Working Conditions

 Travel Requirement: Frequent travel within the assigned territory

 Shift Requirement: No, unless business requirements demand otherwise

 Work Base: Field and office based, as applicable to the assigned territory/area

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
