The Safety Officer at Mahle Anand Thermal Systems Pvt Ltd will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. This includes conducting regular inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
The Safety
Officer will also investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and collaborate with management to develop and improve safety policies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety practices. A degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines and local regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace
- Coordinate with management to address safety concerns and implement solutions to mitigate risks
- Administer employee safety training programs to ensure all staff members understand and follow safety protocols
- Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for prevention
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and standards to ensure compliance
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety awareness
- Collaborate with external agencies and consultants on safety-related initiatives and programs
- Act as a point of contact for safety-related issues and provide guidance and support to employees
- Communicate safety updates and information to staff through meetings, reports, and other forms of communication.
