Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed risk assessment of loan applications as per company policies and credit guidelines.

- Verify customer KYC, income, residence, business, and financial documents.

- Conduct field investigations and customer verification to identify potential risks.

- Assess the creditworthiness and repayment capacity of customers.

- Verify collateral and property documents for secured loan cases.

- Identify discrepancies, fraud indicators, and deviations in loan applications.

- Prepare detailed risk assessment and verification reports with proper recommendations.

- Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Branch Operations, and other departments for smooth loan processing.

- Monitor existing loan accounts and identify early warning signals of potential risk.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Conduct periodic branch and customer audits/verification as assigned.





- Support the Risk Manager in fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and control activities.

- Maintain accurate records of all verification and risk-related activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of NBFC lending and risk assessment processes.

- Experience in secured lending / MSME / LAP / business loans will be preferred.

- Good analytical and decision-making skills.

- Strong observation and investigation skills.

- Valuable knowledge of KYC, documentation, and basic financial analysis.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to travel for field verification and branch visits.

- Ability to identify fraud, discrepancies, and operational risks.

Preferred Profile

- Candidates with prior experience in Risk, Credit, Field Investigation, Credit Verification, or Audit in an NBFC/banking environment.

- Candidates with experience handling secured loan cases will be preferred.
