We're looking for a warm, sales-driven Sales Executive to be the face of our gourmet retail store — greeting customers, guiding them through our product range, hitting sales targets, and keeping the store looking its best.

About the Role

Department: Sales & Customer Experience Reports To: Store Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales

- Greet every customer warmly as they enter the store
- Understand customer needs and recommend products based on taste, occasion, or dietary preferences
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products (pairings, gift sets, seasonal specials)
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and store sales targets
- Handle billing, payments, and returns/exchanges accurately and courteously

Store & Merchandise Management
- Maintain attractive, brand-aligned merchandising and displays
- Keep shelves, displays, and counters clean, well-stocked, and organized
- Monitor stock levels and flag replenishment needs
- Check expiry dates and rotate stock (FIFO) to minimize wastage
- Uphold store cleanliness and hygiene standards

Product Knowledge
- Build strong knowledge of the gourmet product range — origin, ingredients, usage
- Stay current on new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal offerings




- Answer customer questions confidently, including on dietary/allergen information

Other Duties
- Support stock counts and inventory audits
- Coordinate with the store manager on daily sales reporting
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures
- Represent the store's brand values and service standards at all times

Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred (gourmet, F&B;, or premium retail background a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, proactive, customer-first attitude
- Basic numeracy for billing, cash handling, and stock counts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light store tasks
- Willingness to work store hours, including weekends and holidays
- Genuine interest in food and gourmet products is a strong plus
