Position: Retail Merchandiser

Company Profile: It is one of India's leading arts and crafts retail brands, based in Bengaluru, offering a wide range of DIY, hobby, and home decor products. With over 10,000 items available through stores and online platforms, it supports artists, hobbyists, and professionals while promoting creativity and innovation.

Location: Bengaluru

Education: Any graduate

Experience: Minimum 02 years to maximum 07 years

Profile Overview: We are looking for someone who is responsible for driving sales and margin for assigned categories through range planning, vendor management, and in-store execution. You will be the bridge between buying, stores, and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Range Planning & Assortment

- Plan seasonal range for assigned categories: art supplies, craft kits, stationery, DIY
- Analyze sales, trends, and customer feedback to decide SKU mix by store cluster
- Launch new products in coordination with Design + Sourcing teams

2. Buying & Vendor Management

- Identify vendors,



negotiate pricing, MOQs, and payment terms
- Ensure on-time PO release and material inflow as per OTB plan
- Monitor vendor performance on quality, delivery, cost

3. Inventory & P&L; Management

- Own category GMROI, sell-through %, and stock turns
- Plan promotions, markdowns, and liquidation for slow movers
- Work with Planning team to maintain optimal stock at DC + stores

4. Store & Visual Coordination

- Create planograms and coordinate VM execution for current launches
- Visit stores monthly to check display, stock health, competitor pricing - Train store staff on new products/USPs during season launch

5. Data & Reporting

- Weekly sales/stock report to Category Head
- Competitor benchmarking: price, range, offers across Hobby Lobby, Amazon, local craft stores

Working days: 6 days a week (Alternate Saturdays off) Working hours: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
