Role Description The Retail Merchandiser role at Onkar Placement is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves planning and implementing merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility, availability, and sales within retail outlets.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate product displays, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with store staff and suppliers, and maintaining brand and visual merchandising standards.

The Retail

Merchandiser will track sales performance, analyze customer preferences,



and provide feedback on product assortment and promotions. The role also requires maintaining strong relationships with retail partners and contributing to in-store marketing and sales initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail and Customer Service skills to manage in-store presentation and buyer experience.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support revenue growth and promotional activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with store teams, suppliers, and management.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in merchandising, retail operations, or related roles.
- Candidates should demonstrate basic numerical and analytical skills for stock monitoring and sales reporting.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple locations if required, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a degree or certification in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management is an advantage.
