Retail General ManagerJob Purpose The Retail General Manager leads performance across multiple store locations, driving profitable growth, developing strong teams, and ensuring consistent operational standards. The role oversees sales, expenses, inventory, and customer experience across the retail network.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Strategy and Financial Performance: Own multi-store profit and loss (P&L;) results, set sales targets, monitor performance, and manage operating expenses.
- Retail Operations: Ensure stores follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to support reliable product flow.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor store managers, review team performance, and oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, improve inventory accuracy, minimize shrinkage and waste, and oversee audits.
- Customer Experience: Set and maintain high service standards, review customer feedback, and resolve escalated complaints.
- Business Improvement: Use sales, inventory, and operating data to identify opportunities and put practical improvements in place.




- Communication and Reporting: Share performance updates, risks, and recommendations with senior leadership and relevant teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five to ten or more years of progressive retail management experience, including responsibility for multiple locations or high-volume stores.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L; results, sales targets, and operating expenses.
- Solid leadership, financial, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, coach managers, and work effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with retail systems such as point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and reporting tools.

Work Requirements Regular travel between store locations may be required. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or additional hours during peak retail periods.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
