About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager with strong experience in the QSR industry to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensure smooth business functioning, maintain service and food quality standards, and drive sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in QSR operations, team management, inventory control, customer service, SOP implementation, cost control and outlet performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the QSR/restaurant.

Ensure smooth functioning of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Monitor restaurant performance, sales, customer service and operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational standards and food safety guidelines.

Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including Chefs, Kitchen In-charge, Supervisors, Cashiers, Service Staff and other operational teams.

Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance and ensure adequate manpower during peak hours.

Train, motivate and evaluate employees to maintain high service standards.

Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation and consistency.

Coordinate with the Kitchen and Purchase teams to ensure availability of required raw materials and supplies.

Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage and food cost.





Implement effective cost-control measures to improve restaurant profitability.

Monitor daily sales, expenses, cash handling and operational reports.

Analyse sales and operational MIS and identify areas for improvement.

Handle customer complaints and ensure quick and effective resolution.

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and overall restaurant presentation.

Coordinate with the Purchase/Procurement team for timely availability of ingredients, packaging and other supplies.

Monitor equipment and facility maintenance and coordinate with vendors/service providers when required.

Conduct regular outlet inspections and operational audits.

Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI, hygiene, safety and other statutory requirements.

Support menu implementation, recent product launches and promotional activities.

Work closely with the management to achieve sales, profitability and operational targets.

Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.

Prepare and submit regular operational reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.





5–8 years of relevant experience in Restaurant/QSR Operations.

Strong hands-on experience in managing QSR outlets and restaurant operations.

Experience in managing and leading large operational teams.

Strong knowledge of QSR SOPs, food safety, hygiene and operational standards.

Good understanding of food cost, labour cost, inventory and wastage control.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and restaurant POS/ERP systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates who have worked with established QSR/restaurant brands and have experience handling high-volume operations will be preferred.

Experience with brands such as Domino's, KFC, Burger King, McDonald's, Subway, Bikanervala, Wow! Momo, Haldiram's or similar QSR/food-service brands will be an advantage.
