Role Description The Reinsurance Finance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Panvel. The role involves managing reinsurance-related financial activities, including preparing, reviewing, and reconciling reinsurance accounts and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities include analyzing reinsurance treaties and contracts, monitoring premium and claims flows, and ensuring accurate recording in the financial statements. The position requires collaboration with finance, accounting, and underwriting teams to support reporting, budgeting,



and regulatory compliance. The professional in this role will contribute to internal and external audits, assist in process improvements, and provide clear financial insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong Finance and Accounting skills, with the ability to manage reinsurance-related financial operations effectively.
- Ability to analyze Financial Statements and interpret reinsurance data for reporting and decision-making.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to review complex reinsurance structures, premiums, and claims.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Experience in insurance or reinsurance finance, including familiarity with regulatory requirements and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems; exposure to ERP or insurance accounting platforms is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately under deadlines in a dynamic on-site environment.
