- Under broad direction, manages and directs Real Estate Service activities for a specific geographical area which could include one or more districts / countries.

- Responsibilities are multi-functional and include operations and maintenance activities associated with facilities; acquisition and disposition of facilities and property to support business unit requirements; design and construction of support facilities such as shops, warehouses, and plants.

- Prepares and manages district/country specific operating and capital expenditure business plans required to support business entities and support services alike.

- Manages and directs the multi-functional activities via a staff comprised of skilled, technical, craft, and contract employees.

- Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or fields related to the specific management assignments and 15+ years of progressively more responsible experience in related areas as well as effective internal relations with all levels of a large, complex organization.

- Directs the performance and execution of multi-functional real estate services for a specific geographic area. Activities include managing maintenance and operations activities of buildings, facilities, grounds and services; property acquisition & disposal processes and design and construction services. Facility operations include office, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, shop,



expatriate housing, and trainee housing.

- Manages and directs the completion of district/country on specific operating expense and capital business plans. Oversees, and manages performance to plan once approved

- Plans and directs the execution of major construction projects. Activities include design, engineering, and construction of capital improvements in accordance with plan goals, schedule and budget

- Selects and manages subordinate staff. Conducts PPR planning and reviews. Prepares and recommends Focal Point adjustments for direct reports and approves subordinate employee Focal Point adjustments. Conducts employee counseling

- Manages relations with key business unit and support services personnel

- Manages relations with landlords of leased buildings in order to ensure that the landlord's building services and work order fulfillments are properly provided

- Manages, and directs the activities associated with space planning, office relocations and space billings if applicable

- Manages the property/facility acquisition and disposition process for the specific geographic area serviced

- Directs the development of detailed portfolio analysis including feasibility studies and financial modeling to determine how to maximize the value/use of property and facilities by the various business entities regionally and locally

- Develops regional real estate strategies to align with Region/PSL strategies and objectives
