Strung Bioengineering is an early-stage materials R&D; company incubated at IIT Madras.
We’re looking for 2 R&D; interns to join our technical work in Madipakkam, Chennai, with immediate joining.
This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on experimentation, material development and process optimisation.
The work will include
- Laboratory experimentation and sample preparation
- Formulation and process development
- Material testing and evaluation
- Literature research
- Experimental documentation and analysis
- Troubleshooting and iteration
No prior research or industry experience is required. Students and recent graduates from biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, polymer science, textile engineering and related fields are welcome to apply.
We’re looking for people who are comfortable in a lab, pay attention to detail, learn quickly and are willing to work through experiments that don’t always go as planned.
You’ll be part of a small R&D; setup, with the opportunity to take part in real experimental work from the beginning.
