Job Title: Rates Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

- This role directly supports the NY Interest Rate Sales desk.
- The role includes trade booking processing for interest rate swaps, swaptions and cash trades as well as identifying amendments with the trading desk, resolving disputes with downstream operational teams and systems, and liaising with trade settlement and confirmation teams when needed.
- Candidate will work very closely with the team in NY and must be able to work in NY market hours.
- The candidate should be a transparent communicator who works well under time pressure, can manage multiple priorities and is comfortable raising issues for escalation.

Qualifications and Experience





- Candidate must have previous experience in a sales or trading support role for Interest Rate Derivatives.
- Experience required in OTC Derivative trade capture and trade booking.
- Familiarity with Derivatives settlements, confirmations or OTC clearing, DTCC or Markitwire is a plus.
