About the Role:

We are looking for experienced

Radiographer to join a leading NHS Trust in the UK. The role involves performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, providing accurate clinical assessment and reporting, and delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations.

- General/Abdominal and specialist ultrasound including

O&G;, Small Parts, Vascular and Paediatric

, depending on experience.

- Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations independently.

- Provide accurate clinical reports and support clinical decision-making.

- Maintain high standards of patient care, safety and confidentiality.

- Work effectively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

- Support teaching and mentoring of junior/student staff.

- Participate in quality assurance, audit and service development.

Requirements:





- Relevant degree in

Radiography, Radiology, Medical Imaging or equivalent

.

- Postgraduate qualification in

Medical Ultrasound / Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound / DMU or equivalent

.

- Strong clinical ultrasound experience.

- Experience in relevant specialist areas such as

General/Abdominal, O&G;, Vascular, Small Parts or Paediatric Ultrasound

.

- Independent scanning and reporting experience.

- HCPC Registration – Preferable.

- Relevant ultrasound accreditation.

- Valuable communication, clinical judgement and patient-care skills.
