Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Head to lead the quality function for PEB and structural steel manufacturing and project execution. The candidate will be responsible for establishing quality systems, monitoring fabrication and erection quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and leading the quality team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) function for PEB and structural steel projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards, procedures, inspection plans, and quality control systems.
- Ensure quality compliance throughout raw material inspection, fabrication, welding, painting, dispatch, erection, and project execution.
- Review and approve ITP, QAP, inspection procedures, checklists, method statements, and quality documentation.
- Monitor welding quality, dimensional accuracy, fit-up, bolt connections, surface preparation, painting, and fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and project teams for inspections and quality approvals.
- Handle NCRs, customer complaints, quality deviations, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections at plant and project sites.




- Establish quality KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports/MIS for management.
- Lead, train, and guide Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and QC teams.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Projects, Design, Purchase, and Site teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/ASTM/AWS and project-specific quality standards, as required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, rejection, defects, and customer complaints.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Production Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 10–15 years of experience in PEB, structural steel, fabrication, or heavy engineering.
- Robust knowledge of PEB fabrication, welding, structural steel inspection, painting, and erection quality.
- Good understanding of QA/QC documentation, ITP, QAP, NCR, CAPA, and inspection procedures.
- Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and client coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: ₹58,000.00 - ₹117,000.00 per month
